Early this May 5 asylum seekers from Birmingham went on a Green Woodworking Course for three days. They camped, were entertained and made intricate woven topped stools. This was all at the invitation of Will St Clair [https://www.willstclair.co.uk] whose workshop is outdoors in an Ash wood on a Herefordshire farm. The beauty and peace of the place is in such contrast to the noise and restrictions of inner city life of our men who speak a mixture of Farsi, Kurdish and English. Skills were taught, stools completed and strong friendships made. Our grateful thanks to Will & his team and also to Eve Kirby who organised the event.
