Birmingham Quaker Asylum Group held a workshop with Hall Green Quakers recently.

They wrote letters to the Prime Minister and to MPs about increasing support for people fleeing the war in Syria, and about the high levels of destitution among asylum-seekers. They have already had a response from Steve McCabe, MP for Selly Oak. The Asylum Group is planning to hold similar letter-writing workshops in other parts of the city.
