Today we responded to the call from the Together With Refugees Coalition to mark the return of the Nationality and Borders Bill to the House of Commons. All over the UK, landmarks were turned orange and in Birmingham we decided to invite some of our Schools of Sanctuary and other supporters to make a human chain of Orange Hearts at Carrs Lane Church. As always, we were supported by Cllr John Cotton, who is a staunch supporter of our work in schools, and we were also made very welcome by Rev Cristina Cipriani of the URC church at Carrs Lane.
