After the Covid-related restrictions, it’s good to know that whole-school assemblies are now possible again. Today, St Francis’  RC Primary in  Handsworth held their award assembly, almost six months after the award was agreed. Mr Lewis is the member of staff who coordinates the School of Sanctuary work – here he is with the award certificate, in front of the stunning display produced last year by the children to commemorate all those who died in the Mediterranean on their way to seek safety.
