Birmingham City of Sanctuary is joining people from across the city who are responding to recent race hate incidents by urging everyone to do something kind – “love your neighbour”.
This initiative is being supported by the City Council, business and faith communities. City of Sanctuary aims to build a culture of hospitality for people seeking sanctuary in the UK and we have joined the campaign.
Check out some suggestions of things you can do today….Saying “Hello” to your neighbour is a great start!!
Join the online campaign using #loveyourneighbour and pledge your act of kindness on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag.
Why not also get your schools, university, places of work or worship involved.
Visit www.loveyourneighbour.org for more details and help to spread the word so that Birmingham can do what it does best – act kindly to neighbours and strangers.
