At yesterday’s meeting, Birmingham City Council voted with a clear majority to maintain its City of Sanctuary status. Many of our supporters had written to their Councillors about this, so now not only do all new Councillors know about City of Sanctuary, but all Councillors know about the level of grassroots support. Many thanks to everybody who joined in!
